DeviceNet I/O

DeviceNet – do your systems use this for I/O signals?

Working with DeviceNet systems will require the use of a completely separate software package – RSNetWorx for DeviceNet.

Many technicians consider DeviceNet to be the most difficult I/O system to work with – mainly due to the way in which input and output signals may be “mapped” into the controller’s tags with little or no regard to a “physical” hardware address.

Please let us know if you’ll need training on this type of I/O network. Our Boot Camp classes have hands-on exercises available – and we’ll be able to cover your particular systems in much greater detail if you can provide the DeviceNet file (.dnt) for your plant’s specific system.
